AYURVEDA THERAPY  PACKAGES

At ayurvihar our guests can receive Ayurvedic therapies enhancing their wellness and physical well-being, all whilst holidaying at nearby  resort. In fact, many of the therapies can be provided in an average seven to  fourteen-day holiday. There are many packages provided as listed at ‘Ayurvedic therapy add packages’. Packages are also available for extended periods, 1 week as well as individual sessions. Note that some of the sessions can only be provided at the Colva AYURVIHAR Clinic.

Experienced and qualified experts in ‘the Ancient Therapy of Ayurveda’,  ‘panchakarma and allied therapies’, ’Leaf massage and fomentation’, ’Indian head massage’, ‘massage’, ‘aromatherapy’ ‘Beauty therapies’ ‘Detoxification and Rejuvination’and ‘foot massage - reflexology’ will help you attain wellness and well-being and we hope will set the scene for a long and rewarding association with the complementary therapies and Ayurvedic medicine in particular.
Due to the popularity of many of these therapies and the limited availability of the qualified therapists we strongly recommend, to avoid disappointment, that you book your package in advance through e-mail.
After assessment a package may be tailor made to suit your needs or one of the sessions in the ‘Allied Therapies’ may be chosen.

The ‘Schedule of Packages’ depicts a number of packages consisting of a confidential assessment and commencement on the first visit after arrival. A final assessment and evaluation is carried out on completion of the package. For a description of the different therapies please see ‘Package Details’. If you choose a tailor made complementary health holiday special then the schedule and package details will provide all the information. Physician and experienced therapists will recommend a range of therapies that suit your needs. Apart from what is indicated in the above individual sessions, seven day and fourteen day packages and extended stay packages can also be offered.
Please note that some of these therapies may not be suitable during pregnancy or if certain medical conditions are present. For this reason the importance of giving all necessary details during the confidential assessment (consultation) is emphasized. A qualified Ayurvedic physician shall attend and assist you in deciding the therapies required.

Panchakarma
Panchakarma treatments include 5 basic treatments that are most useful for cleansing the body by removing the toxins. The fourteen-day treatment requires 2 hours every day for the first 7 days and 1.5 hour every day for the next 7 days.
Most of the time clients may not need to undergo all five cleansing treatments. The doctor decides the best of five for the client. This requires less time but gives full cleansing and rejuvenation.

All treatments give complete relaxation for the client and rejuvenation (new energy) is also achieved. The evidence suggests that these treatments postpone ageing. All treatments include materials that are exclusively from natural sources.

In addition to the above the centre provides 40 different therapies that are selected or recommended to the patients depending upon their needs.

Note:  Shirodhara is a relaxation procedure, does not come under panchakarma
