AYURVIHAR-The house of AYURVEDA, a pioneer institute of positive health is operating its services from Margao and Colva since 1995 under the able guidance of Dr .K.Nagaraja Samaga who has done his masters degree in Ayurveda in the field of HERBAL MEDICINE in a very reputed national institute I.P.G.T.& R. JAMNAGAR. He worked as a professor(HOD of herbal medicine department) in Ayurvedic medical college at Shiroda, GOA for eight years.
With an ambition of creating greater awareness about Ayurveda to the public he established Ayurvihar. His idea was supported by his wife Mrs. Sreelatha Samaga who has done her masters in pharmacy. The institute in a very short time has reached new heights in creating awareness about health maintenance and curing diseases by Ayurvedic methods even at international level.
The consulting room at Margao is situated at Mabai hotel complex opposite to the municipal garden above Goa sahakar bhandar. The panchakarma clinic is located at Colva Beach, Trinity complex beside Baskin Robins Ice Cream Parlour, near cross roads.
Panchakarma clinic is well equipped to provide complete five classical Ayurvedic therapies like Vamana(emesis), Virechana(purgation), Basti(enema), Nasya and Raktamokshana. Other preparatory therapies like Snehana (oleation), Abhyanga(oil massage), Swedana(fomentation and steam) and over 40 various Ayurvedic classical & KERALA traditional therapies.
Curative treatments for lumbar spondylosis, spondilitis, slip disc syndromme, sciatica, spinal problems, brachial neuralgia, backache, arthritis, local pains, skin complaints, migraine and much more. The clinic also provides treatments for paralysis and hemiperesis.

- Dr. K. Nagaraja Samaga is an ex. Professor of an Ayurveda medical college. He has done B.A.M.S.(Bachelor in Ayurveda medicine &Surgery) degree at S.D.M. Ayurveda college, Mangalore university.
- He has done his M.D.(Doctor of medicine) in an internationally reputed and highly prestigious Institute for Postgraduate Teaching and Research, Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, India.
- He worked as a HON. HOUSE PHYSICIAN from July 1992 to June 1993 in the I. P. G. T. & R. hospital Jamnagar.
- He worked as HON. CLINICAL REGISTRAR from July 1993 to June 1995 in the AYURVEDA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
- His research work on the evaluation of plants BARLERIA PRIONITIS, STROBILANTHES HEYNEANUS and S. SESSILIS on immuno-compromised inflammatory disorders with special reference to Rheumatoid Arthritis was highly appreciated by Ayurveda researchers.
- He worked as a PROFESSOR and HEAD of the departments of Ayurveda Herbal Medicine (Dravya Guna) and Toxicology & Forensic Medicine (Agada tantra) for a long term of 8½ years at Gomantak Ayurvedic Medical College, Shiroda-Goa.
- He also served as Board of studies member for Ayurvedic paraclinical departments at GOA UNIVERSITY.
- He learnt YOGA practices at Patanjali yoga centre’s.
- He has done a MASTER HYPNOTIST course in clinical hypnotherapy at California hypnosis institute of India (CHII).
Mrs. Sreelatha Samaga is the Managing Director of Ayurvihar. She is a pharmacist by profession, done her Bachelor and Masters in Pharmacy (B.Pharm. M.Pharm.) at Vutkoor Lakshmayya College of Pharmacy, Raichur ( GULBARGA UNIVERSITY ). She is well known for her managerial skills.
- The clinic has been organizing workshops for primary, secondary and college students to bring awareness about Ayurveda & medicinal plants which grow in their vicinity.
- AYURVIHAR as a team has organized many FREE health checkup camps throughout SOUTH GOA since the last 10 years. The clinic is organizing Bone Mineral Density checkup camp and obesity clinic at regular intervals in association with HIMALAYA DRUG COMPANY.
